Maybury is a proud member of MHEDA

Founded in 1976, Maybury Material Handling originally distributed a small selection of material handling products. The company first acquired its own building, located in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, in 1981. At that time, Maybury employed 11 people and had broadened its operations to include the fabrication of mezzanines, platforms and stairs, while continuing to sell the products of outside manufacturers.

Eventually, Maybury outgrew its original industrial building, and a new 42,000-square-foot facility, also in East Longmeadow, was completed recently. As one of the largest, most successful material handling companies in the Northeast, Maybury Material Handling now has over 80 employees and is a distributor for approximately 1,300 manufacturers. We supply virtually all types of material handling equipment, including many ergonomic/productivity enhancing products. Our customers range from large manufacturers to small, family-owned businesses, in many different industries.

Safety in the workplace is taken very seriously at Maybury. All of our Service Technicians and Installers attend safety training seminars on forklifts, fall protection, lockout/tagout, personal protective equipment, hazard communication, and general safety practices. An in-house safety committee serves as a watchdog to ensure that Maybury maintains a high level of employee and customer safety. This has enabled Maybury to earn awards from both state and local safety organizations.

A diverse product line, knowledgeable personnel, and an emphasis on safety combine to make Maybury a recognized leader in the material handling industry.
