Job Title: Field Lift Truck Service Technician
Location: New Haven/Fairfield County CT
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs troubleshooting and repair of customer powered material handling equipment
- Manages daily call and travel schedule
- Reads and interprets online troubleshooting and repair manuals and wiring and hydraulic diagrams and schematics
- Dismantles machines or equipment to examine for defective parts and replaces or repairs as needed
- Performs planned maintenance
- Submits completed service call orders and orders parts using tablet computer
- Maintains a clean and safely operating company van and its parts inventory
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience (experience in the material handling industry strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- A valid driver's license and good driving history
- Intermediate computer skills (Windows, internet, email)
