For many applications, a non-hydraulic pneumatic lift and tilt is an acceptable choice. Pneumatic devices do not offer the precise control of hydraulic units, but as they are completely operated on plant air, they are "EPA friendly." Pneumatic lift and tilts are also slightly less expensive to buy, install, and maintain. They can be furnished with vertical travel up to 24 inches and a wide variety of tilting platforms to suit the application requirements. Tilters provide up to 40 degrees of angular travel for container loads up to 4,000 lbs.
