As a result of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a detailed oriented Sales Support Specialist with superior organizational and customer service skills. In this position, you will provide customer service and administrative support within the Sales Department as well as provide frontline support for callers and visitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter and assign new sales leads; verify incoming information to ensure accuracy; report lead status to management and suppliers, as requested.
- Generate quotes and projects from information supplied by the Account Manager; review and verify the quote/project content for accuracy; track the status of all quotes and process supplier purchase orders.
- Process incoming customer purchase orders and work with the Account Manager to secure, process and log orders.
- Process incoming supplier acknowledgements and track the shipping status of all material orders.
- Build and maintain professional working relationships with customers and suppliers; handle incoming customer questions and complaints to help resolve all issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accuracy of all prospect and customer information in company database; assign mailing codes as directed by the Account Manager and maintain the accuracy of the quotes database and purge as required.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately; monitor the reception window, greet visitors and guests.
- Generate sales related reports; process call reports and provide general support as requested by the Account Manager or management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 6 months related experience; one year certificate from a college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent typing skills and intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Internet research skills.
- Must have the ability to multi-task as well as excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills. Professionalism as well as paying close attention to detail is required.
