LOCKOUT TAGOUT TRAINING IN MA & CT

Protect your people, protect your business.

THE IMPORTANCE OF LOCKOUT TAGOUT TRAINING

LOTO training protects your employees from the unexpected release of hazardous energy when interacting with machinery. Hazardous energy comes in many forms, such as electrical energy, thermal energy, and mechanical energy. Exposure to these energy forms can result in electrocution, burns, amputations, and other life-threatening injuries.

Effective lockout tagout training protects your employees by teaching them how to safely disable energy sources before interacting with any machinery.

LOCKOUT TAGOUT TRAINING Faqs

How often should you complete refresher training for LOTO procedures?
OSHA recommends retraining whenever there’s a change in equipment, job assignments, or energy control procedures—or if an employee’s performance indicates a need for review. However, it’s best practice to schedule refresher training at least once a year to keep everyone sharp and compliant.
Do you come to us, or do we have to come to you?
We come to you! Our instructors provide on-site training tailored to your facility, equipment, and safety procedures. Prefer to train off-site? We can also host your team at our location for a focused, distraction-free learning environment.
How long does LOTO training take?
Most Lockout Tagout training sessions take between 3 to 4 hours, depending on the size of your team and the complexity of your equipment. We can adjust the schedule to fit your production needs without disrupting operations.
Will employees receive a certification after completing training?
Yes. Upon completion, each participant receives a certificate of completion verifying they’ve met OSHA requirements for LOTO training. This documentation can be used for audits, compliance checks, or internal safety records.
Can training be customized to our facility?
Absolutely. We offer site-specific LOTO training designed around your actual equipment, procedures, and energy sources. This ensures your team isn’t just learning theory but mastering the exact steps needed to stay safe on your job site.
