Maybury Material Handling is growing and looking for a Customer Service Sales Representative (CSSR) to cover a MA/CT territory. In this position, you will maintain relations with our current customer base and develop new business by promoting and selling Maybury’s equipment rentals, parts and service contracts, Powered Equipment Operator Safety Training, and support the sales and promotion of lift trucks, commercial cleaning equipment, PTHs, batteries and chargers.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pursue and develop new customer service, parts and consignment accounts via prospecting, presentations and following up on leads for new business.
- Prepare or follow up on customer service repair quotes, presentation, cost reports, performance reports and more.
- Establish Planned Maintenance and Full Maintenance Agreements and monitor existing agreements.
- Sell and present Operator Safety Training to customers.
- Solicit sale of rental contracts, manual pallet trucks; replacement batteries and chargers and other supporting products.
- Present Maybury Delivery Experience Package on all deliveries for Powered and Cleaning Equipment to customers to build aftermarket service and parts relationship as well as to complete required installation paperwork.
- Enhance customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction and service and parts support and respond to customer concerns/requests or by referring to the appropriate internal support team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates’ degree and at least two years of proven customer service and sales experience in a related field required; material handling industry or general business experience preferred. Some knowledge of material handling products and applications a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret product catalogs, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental/safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to write reports and business correspondence. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, clients, customers and the general public.
- Capability to effectively communicate with customers and present yourself in an appropriate manner that exemplifies professionalism and our company image.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving history is required. Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
