Description
Power
Heavy duty 48-volt electrical system.
Drive Unit/Drive Motor
A massive AC traction motor and associated drive unit provides unparalleled top travel speeds and precise control at low speeds.
Seat
Crowns exclusive Move Control Seat provides unprecedented levels of flexibility for the turret stockpicker operator. The seat can be positioned at -20, 0, 60 or 90 degrees allowing the operator to choose the optimum position for each task. Multi-task controls are located on cushioned armrests that can be adjusted to a number of preset positions. The seat pad and backrest also swivel independently for an added degree of mobility and comfort.
Control Handles
Crowns multi-task controls offer an advanced ergonomic design and allow blending of five primary functions (travel, main mast lift/lower, auxiliary mast lift/lower, traverse and pivot) for greater productivity.
Steering
Full electronic steering provides smooth and easy maneuvering. Top travel speed is reduced when the steer wheel is greater than 10 degrees. The innovative steering tiller can be operated as a finger divot or with a flip-up tiller knob.
Chassis
The chassis incorporates heavy-gauge steel in the frame, skirt and power unit door contributing to superior load path stability design, protection and industry leading durability. The compact three-point design provides exceptional maneuverability enabling the TSP 6000 to turn in an intersecting aisle as small as 13 feet.
Mast
Crowns Mono-Mast features a boxed-in design with heavy gauge steel and wide outer C-channels and inner I-beams tied together with massive cross members to minimize twisting and swaying.
Brakes
The patented Intelligent Braking System (IBS) combines variable motor braking with one of three levels of friction braking. Operating conditions such as speed of the truck, direction of travel, height of the forks and weight of the truck determine the optimum blend of braking to apply.
Speed
In addition to offering quicker acceleration and faster travel speeds, the TSP 6000 Series offers superior lift, lower, traverse and pivot speeds for unmatched productivity. Linear speed maximizes comfort and productivity by gradually reducing speed as the platform elevates.
Serviceability
Servicing the TSP 6000 Series is simplified as a result of Crowns modular Access 123 technology which provides an efficient interface for system diagnostics, calibration and programmable functions through the Access 1 Display. Components are positioned for easy access behind removable covers and the uncluttered design provides ample room to work. The hydraulic system is isolated from the electrical system so oil and other contaminants will not affect operation. Color coded wiring and the exclusive InfoPoint system reduces downtime by providing clear direction for the service technician.
