Maybury has an immediate opening for a Service Coordinator with superior organizational and multitasking skills who would thrive in a fast-paced, customer focused role. Our Service Coordinators receive and distribute work orders for a team of Road Service Technicians as well as schedule, coordinate and tracks activities between the Service and Parts departments. They also provide backup support for all departmental functions to ensure our customers receive high quality and timely service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives and processes incoming service requests; assigns Service Technicians and explains orders, relays messages and special instructions.
- Opens service work orders in system by entering assigned Service Technician, service order number and call status; generates purchase orders and links to service calls.
- Establishes priorities for specific customer service requests; revises service schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities and availability and/or capability of Service Technicians and parts.
- Reviews preventive maintenance (PM) reports and follow-ups with Service Technicians to ensure 100% completion.
- Monitors open Service Calls and Parts Order status; follows up on completion with Service Technicians and customers.
- Prepares service quotations and service processes.
- Reviews and process daily Service Technician timecards and work orders.
- Develops an in-depth understanding of each customer’s policies and service contract to insure all internal policies, procedures and systems adhere to customer specifications. Updates customer policies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience. Experience as a dispatcher and knowledge of material handling and/or automotive products a plus.
- Ability to effectively work in a fast paced environment, multitask and make quick decisions a must.
- Exceptional organizational, customer service and phone skills required.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to take initiative to solve problems as they arise.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer required.
